Melissa and Ethan participated in something that only a handful of other couples have had the opportunity to do, having their wedding at Folsom Field at the University of Colorado Boulder. From having their photos taken on the football field, to their incredible view from the Rooftop Terrace atop the Champions Center, they had access to gorgeous Colorado scenery, as well as an entirely unique wedding experience.
Tears were inevitable at their ceremony as Ethan’s brother officiated, and was sure to trace the path of the couple, and show the new road that they had decided to take together. The two had come together because of their love of sports, and here they solidified that bond above the Colorado Buffaloes’ football field. The striking view of the Flatirons was indescribable as it stretched endlessly in grandeur and stunning beauty throughout their ceremony.
Melissa and Ethan held their reception in the new Champions Club Lounge, where they were greeted by loved ones, and delicious food provided by BUFFS Hospitality. Owning multiple Chihuahuas, the couple had arranged for cupcakes to be made in the shape of their furry friends, so they could be a part of their big day as well. Later in the night, the pair took some newlywed portraits in front of the gate to the football field where they had come before so many times, and even on the grass itself. With the help of the event staff at CU, and the assistance of their friends and family, Melissa and Ethan created a memorable and rare memory that will last a lifetime.
