We met up with Susan and Eric in Boulder yet again, but today was the awaited day in which the couple tied the knot. Their ceremony was held at Mountain View Methodist Church, where Susan’s college best friend traveled from out of town to be her maid of honor, and Eric’s brother served as his best man.
After the ceremony, the newlyweds and their guests met at Stage Stop, a historic venue built in 1868. In its humble beginnings, the area ran stage coaches across the divide at Rollins pass, and today functions as a restaurant, concert hall, and wedding venue. With breathtaking views and a rustic hospitality, it’s charm captured the heart of both Susan and Eric on a wintry date night days after they were engaged. The Stage Stop felt distinctly Colorado to the couple, and brought back memories of their favorite places in Nashville, Tennessee, where they met in 2013.
The couple had country and blues singer Weston Smith play for their reception, which added a flair of personality and spunk to their fall colored wedding. Surrounded by the love of their close ones, and their love for each other, Susan and Eric joined together this fall evening in a moment they will never forget.
