There is a lot to plan for your family session. Just getting everyone out the door on time can be the hardest thing. But not what to wear. Here are 3 tips to getting to your spring family session laughing with your little ones and looking cuter by the minute.

1) Science of color coordination

Choose colors that stand out against the background. For spring, consider pinks, blues, and purples with green as a secondary color to tie back to the background.

2) Here comes the wind, be prepare!

Spring can be windy, which might cause issues with clothing and hair. Have a backup plan and bring hair ties just in case.

3) Adventure walk, where’s my flats?

Your photographer might ask you to walk through a meadow or uneven terrain. Heels can get stuck in the mud, so consider bringing a second pair of flat shoes for walking.

Remember, the goal is to arrive at your photo session relaxed and ready to have fun with your family.
