Last time we checked in with Nenny and Rama, they were snuggling up as the sun set for their engagement shoot. Now, we joined them in Estes Park for their wedding at the Della Terra Mountain Chateau. Their wedding was a mix of Indonesian tradition with elements of more Western wedding practices. Their ceremony had singing, praying, and a beautiful butterfly release that was styled in a way that highlighted the personality of the couple. Guests watched as Nenny walked down the aisle in her stunningly gorgeous dress and long, flowing veil. Under the Colorado mountains, the two were married, and their large supply of loved ones was there to cheer them on.
After the ceremony, Nenny changed into a traditional Indonesian dress that was made for her by her family. At the reception, they also performed a traditional cloth ceremony for the exciting future of the newlyweds, and close friends and family serenaded them with a few songs. The mix of tradition and modernity culminated in the highlighting of the character of Nenny and Rama. With so many guests offering loving gestures, it was clear that the ones close to them truly love them, and that they truly love each other as well. The details of the receptions were entirely DIY, Nenny made her own bouquet as well as the center pieces for the tables. A close friend made their photo booth, and another friend made their cake. It all came together to show how happy friends and family were to participate in the arrangement of the wedding to see these two get married. In a room with their most treasured people, Nenny and Rama started their lives together.
