We traveled up to the beautiful Estes Park for a fall wedding that was inspired by the stunning scenery of the Colorado mountains. Alyssa and Robert were married at Marys Lake Lodge, and exchanged vows at their outdoor ceremony with a gorgeous view. Making their wedding entirely their own, they made their own candle at the ceremony. By combing wax, they symbolized their binding commitment for each other, and the permanence of their love. Blessed with remarkable weather in the fall, the warm air and beautiful light made for some lovely photos of the newlyweds and their wedding party; a constant reminder of Colorado’s beauty.
The decorations of their reception were inspired by the couple’s love for teddy bears, as well as the colors and tastes of Autumn. Their family was instrumental in the decoration of their reception hall and details. They handmade leaf ornaments for each guests to take as a party favor, and the groom’s mother was in charge of making the wedding cake, as well as various pies that the guests enjoyed. Later in the evening, Alyssa and Robert were able to sneak away for a final romantic evening shot, and with that we were able to wish them all the luck in the world as they started their lives together.
