This styled shoot was inspired by the way color has been used by artists, and its ability to enhance the dimension of any subject. Through the influence of painters such as Claude Monet and Gustav Klimt, this shoot embodied themes of youth and unfettered life through splashes of bright color. Each of the models that participated enveloped a certain form of art, and from backgrounds to bouquets, this shoot serves as an inspiration for brides to embrace new directions when evaluating their color scheme.

Adele’s beautiful profile and poised demeanor gave way to a picturesque performance in which she evoked the emphasis of impressionist paintings and still life portraits, apparent in Klimt’s, “Portrait of Fritza Riedler” and Monet’s “Women in the Garden”. The soft hues of brown eyeshadow worked as warm neutrals that complimented the shape and color of her eyes, highlighted with a pop of brightly colored lipstick. Her hair, curled delicately into a side bun, made visible the strikingly beautiful angles of her face. Draped in a silk Jenny Yoo dress ornamented with beading and lace, she used subtle movements to demonstrate grace and a deliberate stoicism. The design is named “Ingrid”, and its soft features and timeless elegance contributed to the stunning appearance of Adele, and added a layer of aplomb to her composure.

 The bouquet was the centerpiece of Adele’s aesthetic. It featured vibrant Ranunculus flowers, highlighted by Mini Calla Lilies and Roses amongst a bed of alstreoemeria.  The palette of teal and fuchsia complement each other in a way that springs forth with pops of color, and reflects the unbounded nature of an open composition apparent in impressionist still life paintings.
