Vanessa Mir

Dreaming of snow peaked mountains, Samantha and Matt set their hopes on Bald Mountain in Boulder, CO. It was perfectly cold and perfectly windy that these two had no choice but to snuggle and keep warm.

They made a special trip from their home in Durango, CO to meet for their engagement session. Planning a head and hoping for snow we got it right. The day before fresh powder awakened the air and the next day we were hiking a short ways to see snow capped mountains. Their special attachment to the snow started with how they met and how they got engaged, and since after the wedding they will be heading to Australia to live near Samantha’s family snow may not be on their radar anytime soon.

As for their wedding, they chose Rembrandt Yard for the ceremony plus reception and Chautauqua for newlywed portraits. I can’t wait to get another mountain sunset minus the freezing temps.

Happy engagement guys!
