The Oxford hotel is located in downtown Denver, Colorado, and serves as a historic and grandiose location to get married. Located down the street from Union Station, The Oxford serves as the balance between the modernity of the city and the beauty of the past. The hotel was opened October 3rd, 1891, making it Denver’s oldest hotel. It has housed a variety of famous guests, including Teddy Roosevelt, the Dalai Lama, and Hilary Clinton.

One of the most stunning and charismatic rooms in the hotel, the Cruise room, serves as a huge attraction with ceiling to floor Art Deco bas-relief wall panels that depict a “toast” from various cultures. A portrait featuring Germans toasting with Hitler was taken down during World War II, and replaced with an Irish rendition instead. During prohibition, the Cruise Room operated illicitly as a speakeasy, Employees still know of secret passage ways and tunnels that exist today. In 1933, the Cruise Room officially opened the day after prohibition was repealed.
