The workhorses of a photography company starts with exceptional cameras. With the Canon EOS 1Dx Mark II, EOS R, EOS 5D Mark IV, and EOS 5D Mark III cameras equipped with 32 to 128GB memory cards, our photographers are able to tweak aperture and shutter speed to find the perfect exposure for the shot. With a variety of shooting modes and a durable body, Canon cameras provide a reliable shooting experience as well as stunning clarity. Paired with Canon EF L lenses that can be paired with warming filters and polarizers, these high end components collaborate to produce exceptional imagery that takes photography to a new level.
Beyond the camera, Heirloomsnaps utilizes off camera flashes to produce the perfect lighting. We have several 600 EX-RT speed lights with stands and modifiers, as well as Profoto B1X, B1 and D1 strobe lights that pair with a wide variety of umbrellas and modifiers to produce the perfect look. The B1X’s are a favorite of the company, their cordless TTL operation makes them easy to use, and their quick reloading power is strong and can be adjusted to multiple settings and intensities. They create beautiful lighting in and outdoors, and are a must have at any on location event. In the studio, D1 Profoto lights are enhanced by multiple sized soft boxes and light modifiers. During portraits, the Profoto beauty dish is placed upon a D1, B1X, or B1, with a 25 degree grid to create a soft, flattering light. Heirloomsnaps carries a variety of modifiers including zoom and magnum reflectors, barn doors, and grids.
Your images come to life with Canon’s imagePROGRAF PRO-1000. A 17″ wide format professional printer with the LUCIA PRO 11-color plus Chroma Optimizer ink system. Denser droplet placement provides a broader color gamut and improved gloss uniformity. Incredibly accurate color reproduction, outstanding image clarity, and enhanced detail in darker areas distinguish each print. On fine art papers, higher black density renders even the finest shadow detail, for a print that becomes a work of art.
